Accident Insurance Coverage
Miami-Dade County Public Schools offers affordable accident insurance for Adult and Career Technical Education students (ages 16+). This plan helps cover unexpected medical costs if an accident happens during school activities.
Coverage includes:
- Doctor visits, hospital care, X-rays, ambulance service, and more
- Accidental death or dismemberment benefits
- Up to $25,000 in accident medical expenses
- Cost: $6 per student
This insurance is not major medical coverage and does not replace health insurance. It provides extra protection for accidents at school or school-sponsored activities.
